Hyderabad: Police have registered a case of an attempt to murder against the staff and owner of High Five Sky Lounge and Pub after they allegedly attacked two women patrons.
The incident occurred on Sunday night when two women visited the pub at Country Club, Begumpet. However, during a dancing session, they had an argument with other patrons. They approached Pub manager Shekar and asked him to provide details of the customers and CCTV footage. But he refused and suggested to meet pub owner Murali Krishna.
Murali Krishna insisted the women not to file a police complaint as it would dent the reputation of the Pub. When the women did not budge, Murali Krishna allegedly abused them and used foul language.
Late the women left the place only to come back with their relatives. They asked Murali Krishna to come to the parking area.
Murali Krishna along with his buddies however swooped on them and hit them with sticks and glass bottles. Two people including a woman received injuries. They were evacuated to VINN hospital at Begumpet. Later they were shifted to Osmania Hospital for better treatment.
Based on their complaint, Punjagutta police registered an attempt to murder case against Murali Krishna and others. Accused persons are absconding, Punjagutta police said.
