'Brahmastra' prerelease event cancelled; Hyd police say can't spare force for 'bandobast'
The proposed event falls on the third day of Ganesh immersion and it would cause inconvenience to devotees during the Ganesh processions

Police said Rachakonda Commissioner will enquire about the event at Ramoji Film City. "But we are unable to process your request to provide bandobast," police told organizers.Police said Ganesh festival celebrations started on August 31 and will continue till September 12. Police said the force is busy with bandobast duties at Tanks for immersion of Ganesh idols.
"You applied for permission at a short notice. Hence, we couldn't provide sufficient force," police said. Police during the pre-release event of `Radhe Shyam' at the same place in 2021, the organizers issued unaccountable passes to fans and violated the orders of the Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda. It created an unruly atmosphere. A case under section 188 and 336 IPC was later registered against organizers.

"You orally mentioned that gathering of 10000 to 12000 is expected. But there is no proper system and procedures to issue passes. The venue is located beside NH-65 road Hence, there is a chance of huge traffic jam on the National Highway. During the pre-release event of Radhe Shyam, a large number of vehicles were parked beside NH-55 road which resulted in a huge traffic jam," police said.
