`Busbay' to `graveyard': MAUD takes up dev works in Amberpet constituency

MAUD Principal Secretary Arvind Kumar asked the officials to take up junction improvement works at Ali Café Junction, Shivam Road junction, Nallakunta Fever Hospital junction, Barkatpura junction, Kachiguda junction and YMCA junction.
EE and ACP were asked to make a joint inspection and finalize the designs. Similarly, GHMC has been instructed to liaise with the central government officials to take up road widening work opposite Sai Baba temple at Shivam Road.
Arvind Kumar was chairing a review meeting with the officials. He instructed them to expedite the tenders relating to the construction of the retaining wall at Hussain Sagar, surplus Nala at Fever Hospital. He asked officials to start work from the first week of June.
Similarly, the officials were asked to come up with solutions to increase the outflow of surplus waters in Mohinikunta Cheruvu so that the inundation of Patel Nagar and other colonies is minimized.
Regarding flyover works at Chowrasta, the officials informed that compensation has been paid to 281 property holders. GHMC has also deposited Rs nine crore into NHAI's account for utility shifting.
Principal Secretary asked NHAI officials to commence the work at the possible earliest. He asked the officials to develop 'Bus-bays' into AC Bus shelters.
He instructed officials to improve amenities in the major parks by providing proper walking tracks, arrangement of LED lighting, repair of compound walls, arrangement of Public Toilets, etc.
Principal Secretary informed the MLA that a link road from Ali Café Chowrasta to Patel Nagar would result in decongestion of Ramanthapur road. He said a proposal to replace the existing Musarambag cause-way on Musi River with a new bridge is under active consideration of the government.
Kumar instructed the Water Board Officials to address the problem of low-pressure and submit necessary proposals for replacement of pipelines to the government.
He assured the MLA of Amberpet that he will take up the issue of a graveyard with the Revenue Department and Irrigation Nala with HMWSSB. He also assured him that he will take up the issue of Narayanguda Old PS beautification with police high-ups.
