Callaway Golf to set up DigiTech center in Hyderabad
The center will deal with data analytics and IT backend support for the company’s global operations. It is expected to initially provide employment to 300 software professionals.

The announcement was made in a meeting with Telangana minister of industries K.T Rama Rao in the US.
The center will deal with data analytics and IT backend support for the company's global operations. It is expected to initially provide employment to 300 software professionals.
During the meeting, other collaboration opportunities like sports tourism and manufacturing in the state were also discussed. Callaway Golf is a leading golf brand in the world with average revenue of $3.2 billion.

The state delegation also met the American EV company FiskerInc on Tuesday. During the meeting, KTR gave an overview of the state's EV policy and invited Fisker to the state. It is expected that the Fisker team will visit Hyderabad soon to understand the local EV ecosystem and explore avenues of collaboration.
KTR, along with principal secretary Jayesh Ranjan and others, is on a 10-day tour of the US. On the first day of his tour on 21 March, clinical research organisation Chemveda Life Sciences announced an investment of Rs. 150 crore to add a state-of-the-art R&D center in Hyderabad which is expected to create employment for 500 scientists.
Chemveda Life Sciences is a San Diego-headquartered research organization that provides solutions to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and agrochemical industries, and academia.
Besides, the state delegation also met representatives of the biomedical research organisation Scripps Research. During the meeting, discussions on potential collaboration between the government and Scripps Research for the upcoming Pharma University in terms of curriculum design, faculty/student exchange, joint research and degree programmes were discussed.
