Car runs over toddler at Kondapur, killed
An eleven-month-old child was mowed to death when a car ran over him at Kondapur on Tuesday morning.

Hyderabad: An eleven-month-old child was mowed to death when a car ran over him at Kondapur on Tuesday morning.
Identified as Thota Jaswanth, he was playing on the road when the incident occurred.
Police said Jaswanth's family hailed from the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. They had migrated to the city for livelihood and were putting up at B Block in Sriram Nagar of Kondapur under Gachibowli police station limits.
On Tuesday morning, Jaswanth parents were busy with household chores. He and other children from the neighboring homes were playing on the road.
Thati Kiran, who works as a civil engineer in a construction firm, was on his way to the office in his Hyundai i 20. While negotiating a curve, he lost control and ran over the child.
Jaswanth received grievous wounds and was immediately shifted to Kondapur Area hospital. Later he was shifted to Tesla hospital at Kothaguda for scanning. When he was brought back to the area hospital, the doctor on duty declared him dead.
Police have registered a case and seized his car. Police said the investigation is on.
