Car with 300 kg Ganja rams into lorry at ORR; 2 injured, 2 flee
A car that was used to smuggle 300 kg ganja from Andhra Pradesh to Uttar Pradesh met with an accident at Outer Ring Road (ORR) on Monday.

Two people including the driver suffered multiple bleeding injuries, while the remaining two managed to escape from the spot.
Police said speedy Innova with four people on board rammed into the lorry between exit numbers 8 and 7 on the outskirts of Yadagarpally village of Keesaramandal on Monday.
During checking, 300 Kilogram of Ganja packed in (30) different packets each weighing about 10 Kg were kept on the rear portion of the vehicle.
Police said two injured persons, Shivam Dubey and Durgesh Pandey, are in an unconscious state due to severe multiple bleeding injuries. It could not be established where they procured the Ganja. It is also known where they were heading as both injured are unconscious.
However, as per the driving license of Shivam Dubey, it appears that they belong to Singapur village, Ranigunj Thana, Pratapgharh district of UP State. As per the restaurant bills available with the accused, it also seems that they purchased the Ganja in the Araku Agency Area of Andhra Pradesh. They were transporting the drugs to Uttar Pradesh when they met with an accident.
Police said the accused also used the sticker inscribed with the `Government of India' on the number plate. The accused tried to hoodwink police by posing as officials using a government vehicle
Inspector of Police Keesara has seized the Innova vehicle along with 300 Kg of Ganja. A case under section 20 (B) (II) (C) NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
