Check these traffic diversions in Kokapet for HCL Cyclothon on Sunday

Hyderabad: The Cyderabad traffic police have released traffic guidelines for the HCL Cyclothon Hyderabad 2024 scheduled for Sunday (December 15) between 5 am and 10 am.

The event will take place from One Golf towards T-Grill, Kokapet ORR service road, Kollur junction U-turn and ends at One Golf. In this regard, the ORR service road on the left side of the ORR (Kollur Junction towards Kokapet Junction) will be temporarily closed between 5 am to 10 am.

52 KM Race - starts from One Golf – T Grill junction - Right Turn – Kokapet Junction – Right turn to ORR service road – U-turn on the race course marked by the Blue arrow – Kokapet Junction – Left Turn – T Grill – End at One Golf (3 Loops of the race course).

23 KM Race - starts from One Golf – T Grill junction - Right Turn – Kokapet Junction – Right turn to ORR service road – Kollur junction – U-turn – Kokapet Junction – Left Turn – T Grill – End at One Golf (1 Loop of the race course).

10 KM Race - starts from One Golf – T Grill junction - Right Turn – Kokapet Junction – Right turn to ORR service road – U-turn on the race course marked by the Green arrow – Kokapet Junction – Left Turn – T Grill – End at One Golf (1 Loop of the race course).

To facilitate the smooth conduct of the event, certain measures to regulate traffic at various places/junctions/roads need to be taken.

The following traffic advisory was issued for the convenience of the general public:

Affected Junctions- Wipro junction towards Kokapet junction.

Alternative Route- Traffic coming from Wipro junction towards Kokapet junction will be diverted at T-Grill – Left turn to Myscape road – Veda IIT – Towards Narsingi Nanakramguda service road Right turn – My Home Avatar Left turn – Kokapet village.

Affected Junctions- Kollur junction towards Kokapet and My Home Avatar.

Alternative Route- Traffic coming from Kollur towards Kokapet and My Home Avatar will be diverted at Kollur junction towards the Right side of the ORR service road.

Affected Junctions- Narsingi towards Wipro circle

Alternative Route- Traffic coming from Narsingi towards Wipro Circle will be diverted to ORR service road Nanakramguda – Left turn at Khajaguda Circle – Nanakramguda road – Wipro Circle.

Restriction of heavy vehicles

On Sunday from 05.00 hours to 10.00 hours, Heavy vehicles i.e. Trucks, Lorries, DCMs, RMCs and Water Tankers are not allowed in the above-mentioned routes in the limits of Gachibowli and Narsingi Traffic PS, Cyberabad.

Hence, the general public is requested to plan accordingly and cooperate with Traffic Police in ensuring the free flow of traffic.
