CISF constable creates fake ID, sends hoax message to headquarters; arrested

Hyderabad: Rachakonda Cybercrime police arrested a Central Industrial Security Force(CISF) constable for creating a fake email ID and sending messages to central headquarters to tarnish the image of the central force training institute.

Police said accused Shankar Dayal Poddar, a constable at CISF training institute, Hyderabad, was warned by his superiors officers after he was skipping duties regularly. A few days ago, the officers denied him leave permission.

Nursing a grudge, the accused created a fake Gmail ID in one of his colleague's name and sent a hoax message to New Delhi headquarters. In his message, he said the campus is in bad shape, and the administration and duty system has been paralyzed.

He also alleged that staff members are being harassed by superior officers. Later he deleted the fake ID from his phone to hoodwink the police.

During Investigation, police collected the technical evidence. After analyzing the data, the accused was arrested on August 24. An FIR was filed under section 417, 419 of IPC and 66C & 66D of the IT Act.
