BHEL in Ramachandrapuram Mandal was the coldest with mercury plummeting to 10.7 degree Celsius, Telangana State Development Planning Society said.
Rajendranagar closely followed with the mercury dipping to 11.3 degree Celsius. West Maredpally wasn't far behind at 11.9 degrees Celsius. Gachibowli experienced a drop to 12.1 degree Celsius, ESS Quthbullapur at 12.3 degree Celsius, and Sivarampalle at 12.5 degree Celsius.
Hyderabad Neredmet, Golconda, Jeedimetla, Bandlaguda, Balanagar, Hayatnagar, Mondamarket, Trimulgherry, Begumpet, Bollaram, and Madhapur also reported temperatures below 15 degree Celsius.
According to the weather forecast, the city is expected to witness a further decrease in temperatures over the next two days, prompting a yellow alert. This alert extends to other districts in the State as well, indicating a need for residents to take precautions and prepare for colder days ahead.
In light of the cooling trend, residents are advised to stay informed about the weather conditions and take necessary precautions to safeguard against the cold. The yellow alert serves as a reminder for individuals to dress appropriately, especially during the evenings and nights, to prevent exposure to the chilly temperatures.
