Commercial LPG price hiked by Rs 101: cylinder to cost Rs 2,276 in Hyderabad

A 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder will now cost Rs 2,276 in Hyderabad, up from Rs 2,175
Earlier on November 1, the price of a commercial LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 266.
The increasing prices of commercial LPG cylinders are worrisome to restaurants, eateries, and even small tea stalls in the city.
However, the price of domestic cylinders remains the same.
Centre on October 6 had increased domestic LPG cylinder price by Rs 15 per cylinder. A 14.2 kilogram domestic LPG cylinder now costs Rs 952 in Hyderabad, up from Rs 937. That was the fourth straight hike in less than two months.
On the first day of every month, Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) announce new rates for cooking gas cylinders.
The price of the LPG gas cylinder is decided by the state-run oil companies and fluctuation in the rates at the international level. Currently, in India, there are over Rs 30 crore LPG gas cylinder connections.
Meanwhile, the petrol and diesel prices continue to remain stable for close to four weeks. A liter of petrol in Hyderabad costs Rs 108.20 and the diesel price is Rs 94.62 per liter.
On November 4, the Centre had announced an excise duty cut on petrol and diesel. The price of petrol dropped by Rs 5 and diesel by Rs 10.
