Hyderabad: In a shocking revelation, a sub-inspector of the Cyber Crime Section (CCS) of Cyberabad was caught red-handed while attempting to sell 1,750 grams of MDMA. The Narcotics Police Wing apprehended the accused in their net, leading to his subsequent arrest by the police on Saturday.
The suspect has been identified as K Rajendra. The drugs seized from his possession were previously seized in connection with a drug-related case. He had managed to conceal the evidence at his residence.
After the narcotic police came to know about Rajendra's alleged illicit activities, they set a trap that led to the accused’s capture at his residence in Raidurgam, in the act of attempting to sell the seized narcotics.
Following this arrest, the narcotics police submitted a comprehensive report detailing the events to the director of the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TS NAB), CP CV Anand. The accused was subsequently handed over to the Raidurgam police, who arrested Rajendra and took him into custody.
This is not the first time Rajendra has faced serious criminal allegations. In a prior instance during his tenure as a sub-inspector in Raidurgam, he was apprehended by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) while being caught red-handed in a similar situation. During that time, official orders were issued for his dismissal from the service. However, Rajendra managed to secure a stay order from the court, which prevented his removal from this post.
