Cyberabad traffic police gets new DCP-1
He graduated in engineering in electronics and communication from BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad and worked in Hyderabad’s IT sector before joining the IPS.

Hyderabad: IPS officer Harshvardhan on Friday took over charge as Cyberabad traffic DCP-1 from deputy commissioner of police, Cyberabad T. Srinivasa Rao.
Mr. Harshavardhan is from Hyderabad and completed his IPS training in 2018. He graduated in engineering in electronics and communication from BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad and worked in Hyderabad’s IT sector before joining the Indian Police Service. Earlier, he was posted in Greyhounds.
Mr. Harshavardhan said with the assistance of Cyberabad CP Stephen Raveendra, he will incorporate new technologies and ensure free traffic flow in the city.
