Hyderabad: To efficiently manage increasing traffic congestion and provide real-time traffic updates to commuters, Cyberabad Traffic Police launched ‘Cyberabad Traffic Pulse’ for real-time traffic alerts to commuters’ mobile phones on Friday.

The initiative was launched in collaboration with the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) and powered by Tanla.

Speaking after launching the facility, Cyberabad police commissioner Avinash Mohanty emphasised that Cyberabad Traffic Pulse would play a crucial role in reducing traffic congestion and saving commuters’ time by providing real-time alerts. He expressed confidence that this innovative service would significantly enhance road traffic management in the city. The CP also extended his gratitude to SCSC and Tanla Platforms Limited for their support in making this initiative a reality.

Cyberabad Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) D Joel Davis said that the platform provides real-time traffic updates, road diversions, accident alerts, traffic restrictions and notifications about major city events directly to citizens’ mobile phones via WhatsApp, Google RCS, SMS, or Flash Messages. Cyberabad Traffic Pulse will act as a bridge between citizens and the police, ensuring smoother traffic flow across the city, he said.

It provides citizens with real-time updates on traffic congestion, road diversions and accidents, along with accurate details about the causes of congestion and estimated clearance times, helping commuters make informed decisions.”
