Hyderabad: Day time temperatures increase signaling an early onset of summer 

Hyderabad: After over two months of winter, Hyderabad and Telangana are now seeing a shift in weather conditions, with temperatures rising significantly.

In the past few days, maximum daytime temperatures in Hyderabad and other districts have hovered between 34°C and 37°C, signaling early summer.

Nighttime temperatures have also increased, now ranging between 12°C and 22°C across Telangana, while Hyderabad’s minimum temperatures are between 13°C and 23°C. The consistent rise in temperature indicates the transition from winter to spring.

IMD Predicts Warmer Days Ahead

The India Meteorological Department (IMD)-Hyderabad has forecast a further rise in temperatures across the state. “Minimum temperatures are likely to be above normal by 2°C to 3°C over the next three days in Telangana. Dry weather is expected to persist,” the department stated.

Despite the rising temperatures, the IMD noted that some areas in Telangana may experience misty or hazy conditions in the early morning hours for the next three days.

Weather Tracker Confirms End of Winter

T. Balaji, a well-known weather analyst from Hyderabad, confirmed the seasonal transition. “Goodbye winters! It was a proper 2.5-month winter season, but now we are moving into spring. From February 1 to 12, we can expect hot days with dry weather, while nights will remain comfortable, and mornings might be slightly cold,” he said.

According to Balaji, the maximum temperatures across Telangana between February 1 and 12 will range from 34°C to 37°C, further signaling the end of winter.
