DJ Waley Babu interrupted: Badshah’s concert at Gachibowli cut short due to sudden downpour

Hyderabad: During a live concert titled ‘Ride With Badshah,’ popular rapper Badshah took the stage at Gachibowli’s Boulder Hills. However, the event took an unexpected turn when heavy rainfall crashed the concert, leaving thousands of fans disheartened after the concert was cut short.

Badshah, true to his fame, set the stage on fire with his chart-topping hits, taking the audience on an unforgettable musical journey. From the infectious ‘Saturday Saturday’ to the party anthem ‘DJ Waley Babu,’ Badshah’s back-to-back singles have dominated the rap and hip-hop space, leaving an indelible mark.

Not limited to the independent music scene, Badshah also made a prominent name for himself in Bollywood with massive hits like ‘Kala Chashma’ and ‘Kar Gayi Chull.’ His collaborations with renowned artists, coupled with his distinct style, have earned him a special place in the hearts of music enthusiasts.

However, the joyous atmosphere quickly turned sad as dark rain clouds loomed over the venue. The heavy rainfall poured down relentlessly, crashing the concert and leaving fans disappointed. The unexpected turn of events shattered the hopes of a fully packed crowd eagerly waiting to witness Badshah’s live performance.

The rain caused some damage to the stage, leaving the event disorganised. Badshah’s Instagram feed said 15,000 tickets sold out, but only less than 1k fans turned out to the event.

Amidst the chaos, a rumour began circulating about the presence of three snakes at the event. However, Pavan Sai, production manager of Showkase House, who was part of the event, clearly denied it, saying, “How could snakes come in with all the loud noise and bright lights? It was just a rumour.”

He further claimed, “It was a hit event as Boulder Hills was fully packed with crowd.”

One attendee named S Madhu expressed his disappointment, saying, “It was going well until it started raining. But then it turned into a letdown because there wasn’t a proper cover from rain and the attendees were drenched.”

The heavy rainfall really put a damper on the fans’ excitement, as they have been eagerly awaiting his concert. Although Badshah managed to entertain the crowd before the rain interrupted, the performance had to be cut short.
