Eagle team, Gachibowli police raid party at Kondapur flat; six held with cocaine, ecstasy, MDMA

Hyderabad: In a late-night operation, the Eagle Telangana task force and Gachibowli police raided a party at a service apartment in Kondapur, Cyberabad, and arrested six persons, including two drug peddlers, a transporter and three consumers.

DCP (Madhapur) G Vineeth said one of the accused, Vikram, maintained close ties with Surya of Malnadu restaurant and Rahul of Kanvera Farm House, both of whom are already under the scanner in narcotics cases.

Police seized 20 grams of cocaine, eight ecstasy pills (20 grams) and three grams of MDMA from the spot.

How the raid unfolded

Acting on a tip-off, police stormed into Rajeshwari Nilayam Service Apartment in Kondapur, where the accused had gathered for a drug party.

The contraband was being sourced from Bengaluru by a supplier identified as Rahul alias Sonu, who is currently absconding.

The accused

Those arrested include: Teja (28) – Cloud kitchen operator, East Godavari (peddler/kingpin), Vikram – Poultry farm businessman, East Godavari (peddler), Neelima (41) – Housewife, Hyderabad (consumer), Chandan (20) – Engineering student, Karnataka (transporter), Purshotham Reddy (36) – Wine shop owner, Kondapur (consumer) and Bhargav (31) – Software engineer, Hyderabad (consumer).

Kingpin and Modus Operandi

Police identified Teja as the mastermind of the racket. He established contact with Rahul in Bengaluru during a trip and began sourcing cocaine through him.

Teja arranged apartments in Hyderabad for drug sessions and collected money from other consumers to make payments.

Investigators revealed Teja even ordered Glutax 5GS injections, a skin-lightening product, through Rahul, who concealed cocaine packets inside the boxes and sent them via courier.

Profiles of the accused

The accused Vikram is having friendship with Surya of Malnadu restaurant and Rahul of Kanvera Farm House. On January 1, 2024 Vikram & Chisty were arrested by Dichpally Police at Idalwai Toll Plaza on his return from New Delhi to Hyderabad in car after collecting 12 grams of Cocaine from one Nigerian Mike (who is known to Rahul) and sent them to jail (Cr.No.01/2024 of Dichpally PS).

In this case Rahul was shown as absconding but later produced on PT warrant after he was arrested in Malnadu Restaurant Case in Cr.No.02/2025 of Cyberabad Narcotic Police Station. He got married in the year 2016 and blessed with a baby girl. Due to his drug consuming habit their relations strained and she is staying away from him.

On credible information, the Eagle Telangana along with Gachibowli police raided the service apartment and took Vikram along with others who gathered to consume drugs into custody.

Teja

He is the kingpin who procures Cocaine from his known source Rahul @ Sonu R/o Bangalore and organises meeting of all the consumers and he consume Cocaine together.

In the new year celebrations on December 31, 2023 one Manideep, a resident of Rajahmundry arranged Rave Party at Goa and invited Teja & Neilima, where the both were initiated by Cocaine in that Party. Teja will collect money from all the consumers and send it to Rahul.

Teja and Neilima along with Vikram attended the Farm house of Manideep at Rajahmundry in many occasions for consumption of Drugs with Manideep. Teja also has the habit of taking IV injections for enhancing the skin glow. He came to know that all the celebrities use Glutahione vitamin for enhancing their skin glow.

When Teja browsed in Internet for Glutahione, he found that one brand GLUTAX 5GS is the best brand, checked for its price and it was costing Rs.40,000 in Hyderabad while the same product was costing Rs.11,000 in Bangalore.

So, Teja ordered it through Rahul so that he can get it for Rs.11,000. So, whenever he used to order for GLUTAX, Rahul used to send Cocaine concealed in those boxes. Two or three times Teja received the Cocaine parcel through DTDC Courier and he went to AVA Road branch, Rajamundry and collected these parcels.

Neelima tested positive for 3 types of drugs, Teja tested for 5 different types of drugs and the other three tested positive for one type of drug. Chandan was not found positive for any type of drug.
