Hyderabad: In a tragic incident near Inayat Jung Devdi Ashoorkhana, a pedestrian lost her life in a road accident on Thursday.
According to the Mirchowk police, they received a complaint from Ali Abbas regarding a tragic incident that occurred on Tuesday afternoon. Abbas reported that his mother had been involved in a road accident near Lohe ki Kaman, specifically at Inayat Jung Devdi Ashoorkhana, while returning home after purchasing vegetables.
The accident involved a bus belonging to Dilsukhnagar Public School, which was allegedly being driven recklessly when it collided with Abbasā mother. As a result of the impact, she collided with an auto-rickshaw and fell on the ground unconscious.
With the assistance of local bystanders, Abbasā mother was immediately rushed to Durrushewar Hospital in Purani Haveli. However, the attending doctor declined to admit her due to the severity of her injuries. Consequently, she was transferred to Osmania General Hospital, where, unfortunately, she was pronounced dead upon arrival by the medical staff.
Mirchowk Police registered a case against the bus driver. Through the CCTV footage from the area, they identified the driver as Yadhi Reddy, who has been apprehended by the police and remanded into custody under IPC Section 304(a), which deals with causing death by negligence.
