Explore Hyderabad: New combo tickets out for package tours from Birla Mandir to Golconda Fort

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) has announced the introduction of combo tickets for its Hyderabad City sightseeing package tours. The initiative aims to attract more tourists by providing additional facilities such as lunch and boating options in the tour packages.

Fleet and tour details

The corporation currently operates a fleet of 30 buses, including Volvo Multi-Axle, AC Mini Coaches, and a Caravan vehicle. These buses cater to package tours, customized bookings, major events and special hire services.

The new combo ticket tours will be operated using four branded AC Mini Buses with designs featuring key tourist destinations in Hyderabad. The daily tours start at 7:30 am from the Central Reservation Office and include stops at:

ā€¢ Birla Mandir

ā€¢ Salarjung Museum

ā€¢ Nizam Museum

ā€¢ Chowmahalla Palace

ā€¢ Charminar

ā€¢ Golconda Fort

ā€¢ Drive-through of Qutub Shahi Tombs

The tour concludes at Lumbini Park/Tank Bund around 7 pm.

Combo ticket options

The ticket options for the Hyderabad City Sightseeing Package Tours are as follows:

1. Option 1 (Regular Tour): Includes only sightseeing (excluding entry tickets).

ā€¢ Non-AC: Rs 300 (Adult)

ā€¢ AC Mini/Volvo: Rs 400 (Adult)

2. Option 2 (Combo with Boating): Hussain Sagar boating included after the sightseeing tour.

ā€¢ Rs 650 (Adult) | Rs 490 (Child)

3. Option 3 (Combo with Lunch): Includes a vegetarian thali at Salarjung Museum.

ā€¢ Rs. 700 (Adult) | Rs 590 (Child)

4. Option 4 (Combo with Lunch and Boating): Combines sightseeing, boating at Hussain Sagar, and lunch at Salarjung Museum.

New Reservation Counters and Online Booking

To enhance convenience, the TSTDC has opened new information and reservation counters at its Corporate Office in Himayatnagar and at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad. Tourists can book their tickets online at www.tgtdc.in or through authorized booking agents and counters located at various points, including Basheerbagh, Secunderabad, and Kukatpally.

Speaking on the initiative, N Prakash Reddy, Managing Director of TSTDC, stated, ā€œThe introduction of combo tickets is aimed at enhancing the experience for tourists visiting Hyderabad. The new packages combine comfort, convenience, and value, making city sightseeing more enjoyable.ā€
