Hyderabad: Starting from April 1, 2026, commuters using National Highways and Expressways would see a revision in the FASTag Annual Pass fee.

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced an increase in the annual fee from the current Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 3,075 for the upcoming 2026–27 financial year.

This adjustment, which aligns with the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008, affects eligible non-commercial vehicle owners.

The FASTag Annual Pass, which has gained significant traction among private vehicle owners with a user base exceeding 56 lakh, is currently accepted at roughly 1,150 toll plazas across the country.

The Annual Pass is designed to streamline travel for frequent highway users by eliminating the need for recurring recharges.

It offers a convenient one-time payment option that remains valid for one year or until the user completes 200 toll plaza crossings, whichever comes first.

Those looking to purchase or renew their pass can do so online. Once the payment is processed through the official Rajmarg Yatra App or the NHAI website, the Annual Pass is activated on the vehicle’s existing FASTag within two hours.
