Fire breaks out at a shop in Kukatpally area, 6 fire tenders at spot

Hyderabad: A minor fire broke out in a three-storeyed building in Kukatpally area in the morning after Diwali. The incident occurred at 3:30 am in Ram Dev Hardware shop located at road number 3, Phase one. No casualties reported following a public holiday, however, causes huge property damage.

As many as 6 fire tenders were at the spot as the efforts douse the flames.

"There were no reports of any injuries or casualties due to the fire," said S. Laxmi Narayana, Station House Officer, KPHB.

There were four people present during the incident. Fire department rescued all the person present in the building. In the initial investigation, it is found that because of the short-circuit fire breaks out in the shop.

Another fire incident also occurred in a plastic factory in Habeeb Nagar in the city late night. No casualty has been reported due to the fire.
