“All the workers and employees are safe in the Alvin industry fire accident,” said a firefighter involved in the rescue operation.
Fire personnel looking for trapped
Eyewitnesses reported seeing employees rushing out as the flames engulfed the premises. “The workers ran out when the fire broke out inside the company,” stated one eyewitness.
Firefighters and police quickly arrived at the scene deploying two fire engines to tackle the blaze. “The crew is inquiring whether anyone is trapped in the fire,” another eyewitness reported. They managed to douse the flames.
Despite the chaos, efforts were made to ensure the safety of all personnel. Shadnagar firemen provided assistance using ladders to help those trapped escape to safety.
Employee jumped out to escape flames
However, not all who escaped were without incident. Out of the five individuals caught in the thick smoke, one person resorted to desperate measures, jumping from the top of the building. “A worker was injured after jumping from the building to escape from the accident,” confirmed a member of the emergency response team.
Acts of heroism emerged
Saicharan, a passerby rescued those trapped by lending a rope and got workers out unscathed. Using a rope, he helped evacuate workers to safety, showcasing bravery amidst adversity.
“The intensity of the fire increased as the ACs exploded,” noted a firefighter, reflecting on the challenging circumstances. “Thanks to the coordinated efforts of emergency responders and the bravery of individuals like Saichand, a potentially catastrophic situation was brought under control,” added the firefighter.
“As investigations into the cause of the fire continue, the focus remains on ensuring the well-being of all those affected and preventing such incidents in the future,” officials concluded.
