Fire at Godown storing air coolers in Old City

A major fire broke out in a godown located in the Puranapul causing significant damage to the property. The godown contained manufacturing materials used in making air coolers. Most of these materials were made up of plastic, which resulted in a massive emission of smoke and flames.

The fire department immediately rushed to the spot with six fire tenders to control the blaze.

The godown falls under the jurisdiction of the Kulsumpura police station. Although the incident caused fear among nearby residents, there were no reports of injuries or casualties so far.

According to a fire department official, the cause of the fire is yet to be determined. An investigation into the matter is currently underway.
