Flyover construction: No vehicles on 6 No Junction–Amberpet T Junction stretch from August 16

The commuters are advised to use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience and cooperate with Hyderabad Traffic Police.

No vehicles on 6 No Junction–Amberpet T Junction stretch from August 16 due to flyover construction

Hyderabad: Vehicular traffic will not be given access to the route from 6 No Junction to Amberpet T Junction from August 16 onwards. This is in connection with the construction of the structure of the Amberpet Flyover on the same stretch on NH-163 (Old 202).

The Hyderabad police have proposed to close the route from 6 No Junction to Amberpet T Junction from August 16 till the completion of the work.

In this regard, all vehicular traffic will be diverted on a need basis on the following alternate routes. The commuters are advised to use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience and cooperate with Hyderabad Traffic Police.

The alternative routes are as follows:

- RTC buses and heavy vehicles coming from Uppal towards 6 No Junction will be diverted at Amberpet T Junction – Ali Café – Zindatilismath – Golnaka new bridge – Golnaka-Nimboliadda – Tourist – TY Mandali

- RTC buses and heavy vehicles will not be allowed between Golnaka and 6 No. General vehicular traffic i.e., two and four-wheelers, will be allowed.

- RTC buses and heavy vehicles will not be allowed from Zindatilismath to 6 No junction. General vehicular traffic i.e., two and four-wheelers will be allowed.

- General traffic coming from Tilaknagar towards Uppal will be diverted at 6 No Junction – Zindatilismath – Ali Cafe – Amberpet T Junction.

- Heavy vehicles coming from Chaderghat will be diverted at Nimboliadda.

- Heavy vehicles coming from LB Nagar and Boduppal will be diverted at Uppal towards Tarnaka.




The citizens are requested to make note of the above diversions and take alternative routes/avoid the above routes to reach their destination. For any inconvenience in commuting, citizens are requested to call Hyderabad Traffic Police Helpline at 9010203626 for any travel assistance.

Hyderabad Traffic Police solicits citizens' cooperation in the regulation of traffic in the above-mentioned routes.
