A chequered history of parties

Dr G Vivekanand has a chequered history of party hopping as he was earlier in the Indian National Congress party and also with the Bharat Rashtra Samithi. His history shows that he was in Congress then TRS (BRS) to Congress to TRS to BJP to Congress.

Dr G Vivekanand has served 3 terms in Congress, 2 terms in BRS and one term in BJP.

Vivek is a BJP manifesto committee chairman. As the manifesto committee chairman has resigned the state BJP leadership is left in lurch for preparing its manifesto.

He was presently representing Peddapalli parliamentary constituency. His father G Venkat Swamy is a senior leader of the Congress party and was a member of Parliament in the 14th Lok Sabha. His father didnā€™t contest the seat in 2014 as Dr G Vivekanand contested.
