Gachibowli's Shilpa Layout flyover to open for public on Friday
This is the seventeenth flyover to be completed under SRDP.

The Shilpa Layout Flyover will make it easier for traffic from Jubilee Hills and Panjagutta to access Pathancheru, Kokapet, Narsingh, and the international airport via Gachibowli.
This is the seventeenth flyover to be completed under SRDP.
The flyover built over the previously existing Gachibowli flyover consists of two separate one-way bridges on both sides of ORR, connecting ORR and Shilpa Layoutāone with a width of 456.64 meters from up ramp ORR to Shilpa Layout flyover and the other with a width of 399.952 meters from Shilpa Layout to ORR.
A 473-meter-long, 8.50-meter-wide up-ramp flyover from Gachibowli to Mind Space has been built as a service road.
Similarly, the Mind Space to Gachibowli down ramp flyover is 522 meters long and 8.50 meters wide.
Road over bridges, corridors, and underpasses are being constructed as part of the SRDP. Sixteen flyovers, five underpasses, seven ROBs/RUBs, one cable-stayed bridge, Panjagutta widening, and ORR to Medak are among the 32 completed works under SRDP.
The Shilpa Layout flyover is expected to improve road connectivity between the financial area and the Hi-tech city and relieve traffic congestion at the Gachibowli junction.
Benefits of the Project:
- Traffic relief at Gachibowli Junction.
- To cater to the needs of developmental activities in Hyderabad Knowledge centre (HKC) and nearby localities
- Better connectivity between Hi-tech City, HKC and Financial District.
-With this main object of connecting Punjagutta (IRR) to Gachibowli (ORR) is achieved.
- Will achieve direct connectivity to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) from core city via Punjagutta, Jubilee Hills Checkpost, Road no.45, Durgam Cheruvu, HKC and Gachibowli.
