Hyderabad: Telangana MAUD minister KTR will inaugurate the Shilpa Layout flyover in Hyderabad on Friday.
The Shilpa Layout Flyover will make it easier for traffic from Jubilee Hills and Panjagutta to access Pathancheru, Kokapet, Narsingh, and the international airport via Gachibowli.
This is the seventeenth flyover to be completed under SRDP.
The flyover built over the previously existing Gachibowli flyover consists of two separate one-way bridges on both sides of ORR, connecting ORR and Shilpa Layout—one with a width of 456.64 meters from up ramp ORR to Shilpa Layout flyover and the other with a width of 399.952 meters from Shilpa Layout to ORR.
A 473-meter-long, 8.50-meter-wide up-ramp flyover from Gachibowli to Mind Space has been built as a service road.
Similarly, the Mind Space to Gachibowli down ramp flyover is 522 meters long and 8.50 meters wide.
Road over bridges, corridors, and underpasses are being constructed as part of the SRDP. Sixteen flyovers, five underpasses, seven ROBs/RUBs, one cable-stayed bridge, Panjagutta widening, and ORR to Medak are among the 32 completed works under SRDP.
