Ganesh immersion: Over 4500 cops deployed; here are dos and don’ts

Around 4500 cops shall remain deployed. Besides, the anti-sabotage check shall be organized to sanitize the route of the procession and side lanes.
Drones will not be permitted. The immersion process will be monitored through CCTV from PSIOC. The final immersion takes place on September 27 & 28.
A total of 10979 Idols were installed in Cyberabad. These include 1712 in the Madhapur Zone, 3331 in the Balanagar Zone, 2112 in the Rajendranagar Zone, 1912 in the Medchal Zone, and 1912 in the Shamshabad Zone.
Police said 4474) idols will be immersed on the final day. Around 281 idols are scheduled to be immersed in IDL Tank, Kukatpally.
Police said 32 idols will be immersed in Hussain Sagar, Tank Bund Lake. Of these 21 are from Rajendranagar Zone, two from Balanagar Zone, five from Madhapur Zone, three from Medchal Zone, and one from Shamshabad Zone.
There are a total of 34 important lakes in Cyberabad which GHMC limits has26 Lakes. Medchal Collectorate has 12 lakes Including six baby ponds. Ranga Reddy Collectorate has 21 lakes including eight baby ponds and Sangareddy Collectorate has one baby pond.
Police said 44 Static cranes will be deployed. Police have also issued an advisory for the public. Police have listed general precautions which the public must take during the festival.
Cyberabad Police advised the general public to ensure the following for hassle-free movement of vehicles and people. This is being done to make sure that all the festivities are done grandly.
