`Garaj Baras Sawan Ghir Aayo...': Super rains lash Telangana parts for 7 hours
Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) had forecasted light to moderate rains from June 27 to 30

The rains started around 9 pm and continued till 4 am at some places in Hyderabad. Several places across the state also recorded moderate to high rainfall ranging between 15.60 mm to 114.5 mm.
According to the Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS), Addagugur in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri recorded the state's highest rainfall of 78.8 mm followed by Sarvaipet in Palimela Mandal of Jayshankar Bhpalapally that recorded 75 mm rainfall.
In Hyderabad, Rajendra Nagar recorded the highest rainfall of 31.3 mm, followed by LB Nagar-24.3 mm and Falaknuma-22.5 mm. Heavy rains were also recorded in Mehdipatnam, Gachibowli, Miyapur, Khairatabad, Malakpet, etc.
T Balaji, popular as Telangana Weatherman tweeted: "What a rainy night for #Hyderabad. The rain started around 9 PM and it almost rained till 4 AM, almost 7hrs. South Hyderabad got heavier rains, perfect monsoon spell." He added that light to moderate rains are expected in the city on Monday also. "It was a rainy night for the Hyderabadis!! Southern & Western parts of the city received a good amount of rainfall last night with most places recording 15mm+ rainfall whereas other parts of the city got drizzle-light showers," Hyderabad weatherman tweeted

Heavy rainfalls are expected in districts like Nirmal, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Mulugu, Mahabubabad, Vikarabad, and Nizamabad, Jagtial, Peddapalli, Warangal, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Adilabad, and Jayashankar Bhupalpally on 30 June, as per IMD's weekly weather forecast.
