Hyderabad: With summer approaching, temperatures in Telangana are gradually increasing. According to the daily weather report of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad, Nalgonda reported the state's highest maximum temperature of 39.5°Celsius.

Other weather stations across the state also recorded maximum temperatures above 30°Celsius – Bhadrachalam (37.4), Mahabubnagar (36.7), Ramagundam (36.4), Adilabad (35.3), Hanmakonda (35.5), Khammam (35), Hyderabad (34.6), Nizamabad (34.6), Medak (34.2), Dundigal (33.6), and Hakimpet (33).

Weather enthusiast T. Balaji, popularly known as Telangana Weatherman, said the state is going to witness a strong heat spell between 16-22 March. He tweeted, "With the dry winds perfectly blowing from north, intense heat ahead in entire Telangana from March 15. North, east TS districts will witness temp upto 42 degrees Celsius and Hyderabad will see temperatures around 40 degrees celsius during March 17-20. Get your coolers ready."


He also shared a map marking the maximum temperatures in different districts from 16-22 March. According to the map, 15 districts – Adilabad, KB Asifabad, Nirmal, Mancherial, Jagtial, Peddapalli, Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Mahabubabad, Khamma, Suryapet, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Narayanpet, Gadwal, and Wanaparthy – will experience maximum temperatures between 41 to 43°Celsius. Districts like Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Kamareddy, Medak, Nizamabad, Sircilla, Siddipet, Nalgonda, Yadadri Bhongir, Jangaon, Karimnagar, and Nalgonda will see maximum temperatures between 39 to 41°Celsius. Hyderabad, Medchal, and Rangareddy will have maximum temperatures between 39 to 41°Celsius.

Meanwhile, minimum temperatures are also increasing across the state. According to IMD Hyderabad, the state's lowest minimum temperature of 17.2°Celsius was recorded in Adilabad.
