Hyderabad: The Union Minister of Home Affairs and BJP leader Amit Shah will visit Hyderabad on 29 November, the last day of canvassing for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal elections.

Mr. Shah will start the campaign by visiting the Bhagyalakshmi temple in the Old City. The BJP Telangana chief, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, in his rallies, has reiterated that if the BJP wins the GHMC elections, it will build a permanent temple there.

The Home minister will start his first roadshow from Varasiguda Chowrasta to Hanuman temple, Sithaphalmandi. After that, he will take part in another roadshow in Sanath Nagar, Khairatabad, and in Jubilee Hills in the afternoon. In the evening, he will visit the BJP office.

So far, two Union Cabinet ministers, one former Chief Minister, the BJP national president, the BJP youth president, the OBC Morcha, and the national general secretaries have visited Hyderabad to canvass for the municipal polls.

On Saturday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath did a roadshow in Hyderabad and Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Bharat Biotech in the city to see the progress of the COVID-19 vaccine.
