GHMC Polls: Flag march held in Neradmet, Kushaiguda and Jawaharnagar

In order to instill a sense of confidence in public about the security arrangements for the upcoming elections, the Rachakonda Police conducted a 5 km flag march in Neradmet, Kushaiguda and Jawaharnagar PS limits covering four wards on Tuesday.

Hyderabad: In order to instill a sense of confidence in public about the security arrangements for the upcoming elections, the Rachakonda Police conducted a 5 km flag march in Neradmet, Kushaiguda and Jawaharnagar PS limits covering four wards on Tuesday.

The Rachakonda Police along with the TSSP platoons, City Armed Reserve, Mounted Horse Team, Band team of CAR, Law and Order and other police personnel marched 5 km by covering sensitive areas.

The Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat, IPS, said that flag march was conducted to create a sense of confidence among the public in view of the elections. "In a democracy, casting votes is a responsibility of every citizen and they shall vote for a bright future," he said

A total of 250 police personnel will be deployed in sensitive and critical polling locations of Rachakonda Commissionerate. The commissioner requested citizens to cast votes without fail.
