Hyderabad: Police have booked Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Hyderabad in charge Sai Ram Yadav also known as Laddu Yadav for promoting religious enmity.

Laddu Yadav has been booked under section 188 of IPC and 21/76 of the Hyderabad City Police Act.

Additional Inspector of Afzalgunj police station K Praveen Kumar said Laddu Yadav addressed a huge gathering on Ram Navami and tried to promote religious enmity.

"We have constructed Ram Mandir, but you Muslim people cannot do anything. Hindus should unite to fight against Muslims. All Hindus should keep swords with them to fight against Muslims. All the Muslims are the sons of Jinnah," Laddu Yadav allegedly said.

According to the FIR, Laddu Yadav also asked the police to give them free hand for two minutes so that they could unleash their power against Muslims. He said that those who will not say 'Bharath matha ki Jai will be sent to Jail.

Police said that his statement was promoting enmity and hatred between different communities and posed an imminent danger to public safety. According to the police, Laddu Yadav disobeyed the orders promulgated from time to time by the superior officers and gave provocative statements which may create panic in public.
