'Hamara Bharat, Sabka Bharat’: Hundreds march through Hyderabad for upholding constitutional values

Starting from People's Plaza on Necklace Road, the march proceeded to the iconic Ambedkar Statue on NTR Gardens Road.

Hamara Bharat, Sabka Bharat’: Hundreds march through Hyderabad for upholding constitutional values

Hyderabad: Hundreds of citizens marched through the heart of Hyderabad in a display of unity and commitment to constitutional values.

The march was organized by Jana Gana Mana Abhiyan and Telangana for Peace and Unity.



Jana Gana Mana Abhiyan, a national platform, focuses on safeguarding Constitutional values, unity, and democracy, while Telangana for Peace and Unity is a state-level citizens' platform dedicated to communal harmony, peace, and justice.

Starting from People's Plaza on Necklace Road, the march proceeded to the iconic Ambedkar Statue on NTR Gardens Road.




The event culminated near the Ambedkar statue where participants formed a circle, holding hands, and collectively reciting the Preamble of the Constitution in English, Telugu, and Urdu.

Young and old shared their thoughts, emphasizing their pride in India's representation through Constitutional values such as democracy, secularism, justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.

People from various walks of life, including social activists, students, women, senior citizens, domestic workers, basti residents, transport workers, lawyers, IT professionals, engineers, and doctors, joined the march.

Eminent citizens like Prof. Rama Melkote, Mrs. Lalitha Ramadas, V. Sandhya, Prof. Padmaja Shaw, and others voiced their support for the cause.

Senior citizens highlighted the importance of raising their voices during times when fundamental national values face threats.

The march echoed with slogans promoting unity and constitutional values, such as "Hindu Muslim Sikh Isaai, Aapas mein hain behen, bhai," "Hamara Bharat, Sabka Bharat," "Save Constitution, Save Democracy," "Jago Bharat Jago, Nafrat ko door bhagao," "Jago Bharat Jago, Himmat se Kadam badhao," and "Samvidhan Bachao, Desh Bachao."
