KTR inaugurates 4 new companies in Hanumakonda

Telangana: IT and Industries Minister K.T. Rama Rao inaugurated four Information Technology (IT) companies in Hanamkonda on Friday.

The companies include LTI Mindtree, Genpact, HRH Next, and Hexad Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

KTR urged young people in Warangal to make the most of the opportunities provided by the companies and to explore avenues for entrepreneurship.

Genpact, which has already hired 400 associates from local colleges, began discussions with the Minister about 18 months ago with their CEO Tiger Tyagarajan in 2021.

LTI Mindtree has already hired over 60 associates from local colleges, while HRH Next has employed 120 associates in Warangal and plans to increase this number to over 500 in the coming months.

Hexad Solutions Group has already hired 50+ people at Warangal Design Center, offering engineering and design services to Wireline, Wireless, and CATV communications.

Hyderabad has attracted top global brands such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, Uber, Micron, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, and UBS. Companies like Mahindra, MRF, Olectra, Mythra, and Race Energy have also established new centers in the state. ZF, Frisker, Stellantis, Hyundai, and Biliti have set up their campuses in Hyderabad.

Telangana government has created a policy framework, infrastructure, and access to human capital, making Hyderabad a chosen destination for IT growth. The IT sector employed 785,614 direct jobs in 2021-22, adding over 1.5 lakh jobs in 2021-22 alone.

Telangana aims to spread this growth across the state by inaugurating IT centers in Warangal, Karimnagar, and Khammam, which are already operational and creating local employment with a multiplier effect on the local economy.

As an extension of that policy, Telangana State plans to inaugurate IT Towers at Mahabubnagar, Siddipet, Nizamabad, and Nalgonda by July 2023, catering to the rural growth of IT.
