Haryana man brutally attacks techie with kitchen knife in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A techie was attacked by her alleged boyfriend in Hydershakote village, Narsingi, on the outskirts of the city on Tuesday night. The victim suffered multiple injuries after the accused, Sharukh alias Salman, attacked her repeatedly with a kitchen knife. She has been rushed to a hospital and her condition is said to be stable now.

According to the police, both the 29-year-old victim and the accused Sharukh are from Haryana. They moved to the city a few years ago and he worked for a reputed salon chain in the city. The two live in the same locality at Laxmi Nagar colony in Hydershakote village. The duo, who met two years ago, reportedly had plans to get married.

On Tuesday night, the victim was at her home in Lotus Heights apartments when Sharukh barged into her flat, ran into the kitchen, picked up a knife, and stabbed her repeatedly. The victim received injuries on her hands, neck, chest, and abdomen and collapsed in a pool of blood.

Alerted by the woman's parents, other residents of the building rounded up Sharukh and nabbed him as he tried to run away. The police were informed and the victim was taken to a nearby hospital. Meanwhile, Sharukh was taken into custody and shifted to the Narsingi police station for further inquiries.

The police suspect that an argument between the two led to the attack. However, they are probing into the details to find out what pushed Sharukh to brutally attack the woman.
