Heatwave grips Telangana: MeT says light rains may occur on April 15
Daytime temperature is likely to rise steadily and may reach 40°C in various parts of the state

Hyderabad is also witnessing sweltering heat with Maitrivanam Ameerpet recording a temperature of 39.3°C. Temperature is likely to soar in the coming days.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department's Weather Analysis, winds are blowing from the southeast towards Telangana state at the lower level because of which the state is likely to have dry weather for the next three days.
Daytime temperature is likely to rise steadily and may reach 40°C (degrees Celsius) in various parts of the state.
