Hyderabad: Seemingly fed up with poor connectivity, Hyderabad police have switched over to Airtel from BSNL.
All Hyderabad Police officers will be available on their new official numbers of the Airtel network.
The migration from the existing network to Airtel was delayed due to technical hindrances and a series of events that happened in recent months.
The old BSNL connectivity was operating on 3G and the calls were getting disconnected or not connected. Videos and pictures were not getting downloaded. Police sources said all the officers were complaining severely.
Since they have to migrate to 5G in the future, BSNL was not able to provide the required service. City police moved to Airtel after a tender process for better voice quality and connectivity.
