Here are the roads to take and avoid in Cyberabad on 9 and 10 Sept in view of Ganesh Idol immersions

Here are the roads to take and avoid in Cyberabad on 9 and 10 Sept in view of Ganesh Idol immersions

In view of the Immersion of Ganesh Idols at various tanks/lakes in Cyberabad Police Commissionerate limits on 09.09.2022 and 10.09.2022, the following traffic restrictions will be put in order to ensure the free flow of traffic on the roads in and around the immersion locations:

Regulation of traffic on IDL Tank, Kukatpally Road:

On 09-09-2022, the road will be closed from the IDL tank entrance to rainbow vista T-Junction for general traffic to facilitate immersion processions.

1. Vehicles of visitors/onlookers will not be allowed at IDL Tank.

2. Traffic coming from Kukatpally 'Y' Junction to Hitech City Madhapur needs to take JNTU, Forum Mall road towards Hitech City, Madhapur.

3. Traffic coming from Hitech city, Madhapur to Kukatpally 'Y' junction via Kaithalapur shall take Rainbow vista - Moosapet road towards Kukatpally 'Y' Junction, Balanagar.

Regulation of traffic for Ganesh Idol Immersion procession near Hasmathpet Tank, Alwal:

The vehicles carrying Ganesh Idols from Bowenpally and other colonies of Secunderabad should enter Hasmathpet tank via Anjaiahnagar and after the immersion of idols, the empty vehicles shall exit towards

1) Old Bowenpally

2) Mosque road and

3) Harijan basthi.

Regulation of traffic for Ganesh Idol Immersion procession near Suraram Kattamaisamma Tank.

1. The vehicles coming from Balanagar and Jeedimetla proceeding towards Bahadurpally, Bachupally and Gandimaisamma junction will be diverted at Suraram Village near Sub Registrar office, Bowrampet, Gandimaisamma.

2. The vehicles coming from Gandimaisamma, Bachupally proceeding towards Jeedimetla, Balanagar will be diverted at Bahadurpally Junction take a left turn via Dulapally village T junction - IALA Jeedimetla.

Regulation of traffic for Ganesh Idol Immersion procession near Pathikunta Tank.

1. Traffic coming from ORR Exit no. 17 towards Aramghar and Attapur will be diverted at Walampari U-turn – TSPA service road – Right turn – Lords college – L.V. Prasad eye hospital – Right turn – Darga ksaliz village – Left turn – Kismatpur village – Budwel village – Extension left turn.

2. Traffic coming from Pillar No. 294(Shivarampally) and PDP junction will be diverted towards Budvel village- Kismatpur village-Dargah village right turn- LV Prasad Eye care left turn- Lords college turning then towards TSPA junction and Himayat Sagar tollgate.

Regulation of Ganesh idols on flyovers

The vehicles carrying Ganesh idol will not be allowed on Fathenagar flyover, Cyber towers fly over, Forum Mall Flyover and Gachibowli fly over, Bio-diversity flyovers 1 & 2, Mind space flyover, Road No.45 flyover and Durgam Cheruvu Bridge, Babu Jagjivan Ram flyover (Balanagar), Malkamcheruvu Flyover, Kaithalapur flyover, Shaikpet flyover due to safety issues.

Restrictions of heavy vehicles

Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to ply on the following roads/areas:

1. BHEL X road to Godrej 'Y' Junction, Kukatpally

2. Balanagar to Fathenagar bridge

3. Godrej to Erragadda

4. Ferozguda to Godrej 'Y' Junction, Kukatpally

5.Gudenmet to Narsapur 'X' road

6. PVNR flyover from Aramghar X road

Road Diversion:

1. All heavy vehicles (including buses) coming from Sangareddy, Patancheru and BHEL proceeding towards Kukatpally, Hyderabad City will not be allowed and they shall take a diversion at BHEL X road, take 'U-turn and proceed towards Lingampally, HCU, Gachibowli, Tolichowki.

2. All heavy vehicles (including buses) coming from BHEL, Chandanagar and Miyapur towards Ameerpet shall take a diversion at Miyapur X road, take left and proceed towards Bachupally, Dundigal road.

3. Only Heavy Goods vehicles coming from Gachibowli and Patencheru towards Aramghar and Attapur shall not get down at Exit No. 17 (Himayat Sagar), instead they should proceed straight on ORR and can get down at ORR Exit No.16 (Shamshabad).

The above restrictions will be imposed on 09-09-2022 from 6.00 AM to 10-09-2022 till the completion of immersion activities in the interest of the General Public and the road users.
