Here are traffic diversions for IAF air show at Tank Bund for Praja Palana Praja Vijayotsavalu on Dec 8

Hyderabad: In connection with the air show by the Indian Air Force over Hussain Sagar at Tank Bund on the eve of Praja Palana Praja Vijayotsavalu on December 8, the following traffic diversions have been made.

The traffic will be diverted at the following locations on a need basis from 2 pm to 9 pm.

At VV Statue: Traffic coming from Rajbhavan and Panjagutta will not be allowed towards Khairtabad Flyover and diverted at VV Statue towards Shadan, Nirankari, Old PS Saifabad.

At Necklace Rotary: Traffic coming from Khairtabad flyover towards NTR Marg will not be allowed and will be diverted at Indira Gandhi statue (Necklace rotary) towards PVNR Marg/Necklace Road- Prasads IMAX/Mint compound lane.

At Old Telugu Thalli Junction: Traffic coming from Liberty towards the upper tank bund will not be allowed and will be diverted at Old Telugu Thalli Junction towards Iqbal Minar.

At Telugu Thalli starting flyover: Traffic coming from Iqbal Minar will not be allowed towards old Ambedkar Junction and will be diverted on to Telugu Thalli flyover towards Katta Maisamma.

At Old PS Saifabad: Traffic coming from Nirankari Junction and round towards Iqbal Minar Minar will not be allowed and will be diverted towards Ravindra Bharathi.

At Ravindra Bharathi: Traffic coming from Old PS Saifabad towards Iqbal Minar will not be allowed and will be diverted towards Ravindra Bharathi and HTP. Traffic coming from HTP towards Iqbal Minar will not be allowed and will be diverted towards Lakdikapool.

At DBR Mills: Traffic coming from Dhobi Ghat towards Children’s Park/Upper Tank bund will not be allowed and will be diverted at DBR Mills towards Kavadiguda X roads.

At Kavadiguda X roads: Traffic coming from DBR Mills will be diverted at Kawadiguda X roads towards Jabbar Complex & CGO Towers.

Further, traffic coming from CGO Towers towards the Sailing Club will not be allowed and will be diverted at Kavadiguda X roads towards DBR Mills and Jabbar Complex.

At Karbala Maidan: Traffic coming from Ranigunj towards the upper tank bund will not be allowed and will be diverted at Karbala Maidan towards Bible House.

Diversion of RTC buses

All inter-district RTC buses coming from Secunderabad towards MGBS via Tank Bund will be diverted at Sweekar-Upakar Junction towards YWCA Sangeeth Mettuguda Tarnaka Nallakunta-Fever Hospital X roads Barkathpura-Tourist Hotel-Nimboli Adda Chaderghat-Rangmahal and MGBS.

City buses coming towards Tank Bund will be diverted at Karbala Maidan towards Bible House.

Parking places

PVNR Marg/ Necklace Road – (250 cars and 500 two-wheelers), 2. Adarsh Nagar Lane – (200 two-wheelers), 3. GHMC Head Office Lane – (50 cars), 4. Formula Race Course Road – (100 cars and 500 two-wheelers), 5. Boats Club (50 Cars for ministers), 6. Martyrs Memorial – (300 cars for MLAs, MLCs and MPs, All India Service Officers (IAS) Corporation chairman, ZP chairmen and other dignitaries).

Citizens are requested to avoid the following junctions where traffic congestion is expected: VV Statue, Khairatabad, Old PS Saifabad, Iqbal Minar, Telugu Thalli Junction Necklace Rotary, Liberty, Ravindra Bharati, Ambedkar Statue, Kavadiguda Crossroads, Kattamaisamma, Indira Park crossroads, Karbala Maidan, Ranigunj and Nallagutta.
