Hyderabad: Two persons—the owner of a city-based event management firm and a businessman—were arrested by the Hyderabad Narcotic Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) and the Ramgopalpet police with 3 grams of cocaine on 1 January. Mohit Agarwal alias Myron Mohit (30) owns The Unscripted, an event management company. The other arrested person is Manyam Krishna Kishore Reddy (59) who owns the construction firm KMC Private Limited.

Mohit started his event management company in 2014 and used to conduct big parties in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Goa, and Bangalore. He had developed good relations with pub owners and international DJs. He also organised private parties in Hyderabad pubs. He had links with several drug peddlers and consumers, and he regularly visited Goa.

While conducting the New Year Special Operation, H-NEW and Ramgopalpet police arrested Myron Mohit and seized 1 gram of cocaine and a mobile phone from him.

Manyam Krishna Kishore Reddy regularly hosts private parties along with his friends in pubs and private guesthouses. He and his friends used to consume drugs at these parties. He, too, regularly visited Goa and had good relations with Edwin, Curlies owner, and got cocaine for consumption. Apart from Edwin, he had contact with another person in Bangalore who used to send drugs in travel buses from Bangalore to Hyderabad. Payments were done through G-Pay.

Kishore Reddy was caught at his residence and 2 grams of cocaine and a mobile phone were seized from his possession.
