Hyderabad: During the Ganesh Chathurti celebrations, the Hyderabad SHE teams caught 240 persons for misbehaving with women, touching them inappropriately, stalking them, and taking their photos near Ganesh pandals across the city.
SHE teams were present at all Ganesh pandals under the Hyderabad commissionerate. They even had secret cameras. The accused were produced before the Nampally court and the trial court imposed a fine of Rs. 250 and imprisonment ranging from 2 to 10 days.
"It is not easy to escape from the eyes of SHE teams no matter where and no matter how huge the crowd. It is your ignorance if you think your unethical acts of behaving indecently with women will not be caught by the hidden cameras of Hyderabad She Team," said Hyderabad SHE team additional CP A.R. Srinivas.
Hyderabad city police commissioner C.V. Anand congratulated and appreciated the professionalism and commitment of the Hyderabad SHE team members.
