ACB arrests GHMC's senior assistant, computer operator for accepting bribe
Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday arrested senior assistant and computer operator of GHMC for accepting bribe.

Senior assistant Syed Chand Pasha, posted at Tax Section in the office of GHMC Zonal Commissioner, Kukatpally, Hyderabad, was caught red-handed accepting a bribe of Rs.8,000 from Muruge Nagaraju of Jagadgirigutta.
He had demanded a bribe "to process the application pertaining to the mutation of the complainant's house".
In the chemical test, Syed Chand Pasha's right-hand fingers yielded positive results and the bribe amount was recovered from him.
Another accused Talluru Shanmukha Rao was also caught red-handed accepting the bribe. A computer operator at Trade License Section, he had demanded a bribe of Rs.2,500 from Muruge Nagaraju "to get the title and address changed".
He accepted the bribe from Nagaraju's brother Muruge Shivaraj in his office.
In the chemical test, Talluru Shanmukha Rao's right-hand fingers yielded positive results and the bribe amount was recovered from him.
"Senior assistant and the computer operator performed their public duty improperly and dishonestly. They have been arrested and are being produced before the First Additional Special Judge for SPE & ACB Cases, Nampally Hyderabad. The cases are under investigation," said ACB.
