Hyderabad: Addl DySP Nandeeswara Babji posted at Telangana DGP office killed in road accident

Hyderabad: A senior police officer was killed when an APSRTC bus hit him near Hanuman Temple at Laxma Reddy Pallem.

The incident occurred when the officer was strolling on the road at 4:40 AM on Saturday.

The victim has been identified as T.M. Nandeeswara Babji, an Additional Deputy Superintendent of Police posted at the Telangana DGP office.

The bus, belonging to the Nuzvidu Depot (Br. No. AP39-VA-9563), was going to Hayathnagar from Abdullapurmet The driver was speeding when he hit Babji.

He sustained critical injuries and died on the spot.
