Hyderabad: After new secretariat, KCR government to build 'Twin Towers' for HODs
The Twin Towers idea was mooted because the officials are working closely with the Secretariat

KCR mooted the idea during a review meeting held at Dr. BR Ambedkar's Secretariat on Monday.
CM discussed bringing the offices of all HODs to one place. He decided to build their offices in an integrated place near the Secretariat. The CM said that after finalizing the location, construction of the Twin Towers will be undertaken.
The Twin Towers idea was mooted because the officials are working closely with the Secretariat.
The CM asked the officials about the number of full-time staff working under the HODs. He asked the officials to find a spacious government place available near the new Secretariat.
Telangana State Formation Day
KCR also directed the officials to organize 21-day decennial Telangana State Formation Day celebrations on a grand scale from June 2. He discussed progress in the management and arrangements made for the formation day celebrations. Chief Secretary Santhi Kkumari briefed CM about the steps being taken by the respective departments to hold the programs daily from June 2.
Sub Committee to finalize modalities:
The CM reiterated that the state government is committed to supporting the communities engaged in traditional occupations. He made it clear that the state government will financially support Rajaka, Nai Brahmin, Pusala, Budagajangala, and other castes of BC MBC who depend on their traditional occupations.
Sub Committee Chairman and BC Welfare Minister Gangula Kamalakar informed KCR that the state government has already announced financial assistance of Rs one lakh. He directed the minister to finalize the procedures at the earliest and launch the scheme on Welfare Day.
Martyrs' Memorial
KCR suggested the installation of the `Telangana Talli Statueā in front of the martyrs' memorial. The CM directed R&B Engineer Shasidhar to beautify the statue with magnificent fountains on both sides. He said all arrangements should be made for the convenience of the people who visit the Martyrs' Memorial during Formation Day celebrations. He also asked officials to avoid traffic snarls.
KCR later inspected the bridge works at BRK Bhavan. The bridge is being built to ensure that traffic is not disrupted at the new Secretariat.
