Hyderabad: Telangana Anti Narcotics Bureau (TGANB) has decided to write to company HRs if its employee is caught or tested positive for drugs
TGANB will request the company for two months ' leave so that the drug abuser can undergo the de-addiction process at a rehab.
This follows the recent incident when eight customers tested positive for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamine, and Methamphetamine at Quake Arena in Madhapur. The employees were caught after TGANB conducted a discreet operation in collaboration with the Cyberabad Police
Majority of those caught in the recent drug bust work for top MNCs. TGANB will soon be writing to the HRs, officials said.
Recently celebrity DJ Ben Bohmer was tested for drugs. However, he tested negative. TGANB carried out a drug test on him while playing at Quake- Madhapur. He charged Rs 1.8 crore for playing in Hyderabad
On December 28, sleuths received information that suspected drug abusers might attend the event.

The Operation:
A special team of 22 officers, including DSPs from the State Task Force, Cyberabad, and Rachakonda Narcotics Police Stations was formed immediately. The team quickly set up an information network, electronic surveillance, physical surveillance,e, and spotters to identify individuals displaying signs of drug consumption.
The team identified 25 potential drug abusers. Of these, 14 individuals were subjected to advanced drug testing. Eight individuals tested positive for substances such as THC (found in Ganja), Cocaine, Amphetamine, and Methamphetamine.
