Hyderabad: Believe it or not, thieves barge into four apartments at Moosarambagh only to steal shoes

Hyderabad: In a bizarre incident, thieves targeted four apartments in the Moosarambagh area, stealing shoes and slippers—including those belonging to a police inspector and a woman sub-inspector.

Residents woke up to find their footwear missing, leaving the community in shock. A complaint was lodged at the Malakpet police station, and an investigation is underway.

CCTV footage captured two unidentified individuals arriving in an auto-rickshaw and stealing the footwear before driving away.

Earlier, in a separate incident, a ward boy stole a pair of shoes from the doctor’s dressing room at Yashoda Hospital, Somajiguda.

The boy reportedly entered the hospital through the B-1 cellar area and used the doctor’s lift to access the fifth floor. After spending some time inside the premises, he exited the hospital. It was only later that hospital staff discovered the theft of a pair of shoes valued at Rs 4,000 from the doctor’s dressing room.

Upon reviewing the CCTV footage, the hospital staff identified him wearing the stolen shoes and walking towards Raj Bhavan Road.

Panjagutta police have registered a case under sections 331(3) and 305(a) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). A person has been also arrested in the theft case.
