Hyderabad: Chaddi Gang strikes again; steals Rs. 7.85L from World One School, Hafeezpet

Hyderabad: Notorious Chaddi Gang stormed World One School and decamped with Rs. 7,85,000 cash.

Miyapur Inspector Durgaramalinga Prasad said police have received a complaint from Saranga Suresh, Administrative Officer at World One School, Hafeezpet.

The complainant stated that some unknown offenders gained entry into their school accounts room by breaking open the main door lock. They decamped with Rs. 7,85,000 cash.

Upon verifying the school's CCTV footage, it was discovered that two unknown offenders were responsible for the theft. The complainant requested necessary action in this matter.

Police have registered a case under Sections 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code. The case is currently under investigation.

The incident, which occurred on Saturday midnight, has sparked widespread concern.

Miyapur CI Durgaramalinga Prasad confirmed that the gang members broke into the office, where they seized the cash. The theft was discovered on Sunday morning when school authorities noticed the missing funds and alerted the police.

Chaddi Gang strikes again

In August 2023, Chaddi gang decamped with eight thulas gold and four lakhs from a gated community in Miyapur. Cyberabad police nabbed the one of the offenders and it was found that the gang is from Gujarat. They worked as agricultural labourers. During that that, a video of Chaddi gang near Hafeezpet villas had gone viral which led to the police issuing advisory for security surveillance and security manpower in residential colonies.
