Hyderabad: Six who vandalized Tollywood actor Allu Arjun's home got bail 

Hyderabad: A local court has granted bail to six accused who vandalized actor Allu Arjun's residence in Jubilee Hills on Sunday.

The six were produced before a court where they were granted bail

What happened at Allu Arjun's residence?

At 4.45 pm, six people holding placards rushed towards the residence of actor Allu Arjun in Jubilee Hills. Shouting slogans, one of them scaled the compound wall and started throwing tomatoes.

DCP West Zone, Hyderabad, said the security staff persuaded them to get down from the wall, but they got into an altercation. Later miscreants manhandled the security staff and damaged some flower pots kept along the ramp.

They continued sloganeering for a while and spoke to the media waiting at the gate. On receiving the information, Jubilee Hills Police reached the spot and took 6 people into custody. They all claim to be part of OU-JAC. During questioning, they said they were trying to protest against the actor. Protestors said they wanted the actor to help the victimā€™s family.

A case was registered against the six accused and others involved in the incident. Stringent action as per law is being initiated against them.

Public warmed

In a statement, police warned the public against lawless behavior.

Background

Tollywood actor Allu Arjun has been accused of the stampede that occurred at Sandhya Theatre during the Pushpa 2 premiere. A woman died and her son is undergoing treatment at KIMS Hospital in the incident.

The injured child is in the comatose stage. Emotions are running high and there is political clamor on the action taken against the actor.
