Hyderabad: Eight youth were taken into custody after being caught riding together on a single two-wheeler at high speed on the main road from Gaganpahad to Aramghar.
The incident occurred around 2 a.m. on June 22 and posed a serious risk to both the riders and other commuters.
The matter came to light when a person traveling in a car recorded the stunt and shared the video on the social media platform X, tagging the traffic police. Taking immediate action, the police formed a team and traced all eight individuals involved, using the video evidence to identify the two-wheeler.
Rajendranagar Traffic Inspector Rajender Goud led the operation to apprehend the youths on Monday. All eight individuals were handed over to the Rajendranagar police station, where a case has been registered against them for reckless and dangerous driving.
