Hyderabad: Employer puts up employee’s `missing’ poster after he goes on unauthorized leave

Hyderabad: A man was in for a shock when he found posters with his picture describing him `missing' across Hyderabad.

The man had gone to his native village for 20 days. When he returned to the city, he found that his employer had put up missing person posters all over the city.

The incident has prompted an investigation by the Jubilee Hills police.

According to Jubilee Hills Police, P. Ramakrishna, a resident of Yousufguda has been working for Nalini of Somajiguda for the past 15 years. Despite being denied permission, Ramakrishna went on unauthorized leave to meet his family.

After returning to the city, Ramakrishna was surprised to see posters with his picture and details as a missing person. He became suspicious and asked his employer about the posters.

Nalini's son-in-law Prakash admitted that they had put up posters and demanded that he return to work.

The response prompted Ramakrishna's wife to file a complaint with the Jubilee Hills police. She alleged that Nalini had posted the missing flyers without their consent.

Police have forwarded the complaint for a legal opinion. Police stated that they will file a case against Nalini once they receive the legal opinion.
