Hyderabad: HYDRAA dismantles wall in Nandanavanam Colony after 15 years
Hyderabad: Residents of Nandanavanam Colony in Habsiguda heaved a sigh of relief after HYDRAA removed the obstructing wall that had separated them from neighbouring Jayanagar Colony for over 15 years.
Wall removed after long wait
HYDRAA officials cleared the wall located on Street No. 6 in Habsiguda. This removal has significantly reduced the distance between Nandanavanam and Jayanagar colonies.
Travel distance reduced drastically
Earlier, residents had to travel nearly 1.5 km to reach the NGRI Metro Station. With the wall gone, they can now access the metro station by walking just 300 metres, saving both time and effort.
Years of struggle ends
Residents shared that despite repeated complaints to municipal authorities over the years, their appeals went unheard. Even discussions with the Jayanagar Colony Association did not resolve the issue and often ended in disputes.
Prajavani complaint brings immediate solution
According to the residents of Concrete Trumpet Apartments, the matter was finally addressed after a complaint was filed with HYDRAA through Prajavani.
āWe were struggling for 15 years. After raising it on Prajavani, the problem was solved within no time,ā said a resident, expressing gratitude for the swift action.
